Immy Hathaway is a wildlife-inspired artist based in the beautiful Forest of Dean, where she lives with her husband, George. Originally from Gloucester, Immy's passion for both art and the natural world has shaped the creative journey she continues today.

Alongside her artistic practice, Immy works as an ecologist, travelling across the UK to study birds and wildlife in some of the country's most remarkable landscapes. Spending so much time immersed in nature has become an endless source of inspiration, influencing the forms, textures and stories found throughout her work.

Art has always been an important creative outlet for Immy. What began as a lifelong hobby has grown into a dedicated practice, with countless hours spent in her studio experimenting with different materials, techniques and processes. She particularly enjoys creating sculptures, combining natural textures with carefully crafted details to celebrate the beauty of British wildlife.

Whether working on an original sculpture, producing fine art prints or developing a bespoke commission, Immy aims to capture the character and individuality of the wildlife that inspires her every day.

When she's not working outdoors or in the studio, Immy enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, and exploring new places. Her recent travels to New Zealand have provided even more inspiration, deepening her appreciation for the incredible diversity of the natural world.
